The team is rallying since 1988, and with its first rally car - VAZ 21011 took good places in Bulgarian Rally and Hillclimb championships.

From 1990 till 1994 with its new rally car - VAZ 2108 won 1990 and 1991 Rally Championships. Vice-champions in Hillclimb championships 1990 and 1992, 8th in general classification of Rally Hebros'93. The team is 1st in its class for 1993.

In 1995, the team bought new rally car - Folkswagen Golf, prepared by WV Motorsport. With the new car, won Rally championships title for 1600-2000cc class for 1995 and 1996.

From the middle of 1997 on , the crew is rallying with Ford Escort Cosworth gr. N, prepared in Italy. For the same year became vice-champion in Rally championship and 3rd in the Hillclimb championship. For 1999 is 3rd in the Rally championship and 2nd in gr. N, and also won the Hillclimb championship for 1999.

For year 2000, the team won Ford Cup of Rally Albena (ERC, coeff. 20; now named Rally Bulgaria) and respectively 1st place in gr. N there.

Later the same year, on Rally Hebros, the crew is 1st in its class and 4th in the genaral classification. 1st place in gr. N and 3rd in the general classification is in possession of the team for Rally Stari Stolici (Rally Old Capitals) 2000.

The total result for 2000: the team is 2nd in gr. N and 5th in the bulgarian rally championship.

From 2002 on, the club bought new car - Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 6, prepared in England. The team is competing in 2002 and 2004 Bulgarian Rally Championship and especially in the Bulgarian Hillclimb Championship, where Paunov became triple champion - for 2005, 2006 and 2007.

For 2005 another driver comes to the team - Stoian Stanchev. He is competing in both

Bulgarian Circuit and Hillclimb championships with Ford Escort RS Cosworth gr. N.

On the same year Beta Racing Rally Team begun servicing Astra Racing pilot Ekaterina Stratieva. Her first car is Suzuki Swift (class N/1). She is competing in both Bulgarian Circuit and Hillclimb circhampionships. In 2006 and 2007, already in class N/2 with Citroen Saxo VTS, she replaces Circuit for Rally Championship and do it in paralel with Hillclimb one. With her new car she becomes champion in her class in the Bulgarian Hillclimb Championship for 2006 and 2007. Other big success for young pitot in 2007 is her first place in N/2 on the biggest bulgarian automobile event - Rally Bulgaria.
